Pylint job broken

The Pylint job does not work. This seems to be because the GitLab runner does not recognize master as a branch (or it's ambiguous for some reason). Maybe a git fetch solves this?

It seems git lint was deprecated. I propose we remove the lint job for now, because it's not working.

I'd like to replace it with a different invocation of pylint so we don't have a CI regression.

And I'd like to move this to %0.8.0 because we should fix broken pipelines asap.
